Frequently asked questions

How do I pay?

Top up your balance in the panel in so’m via Click or Payme. The monthly server price is charged to your balance automatically.

What if my balance runs short?

We warn you 5 days before the due date. If the payment doesn’t arrive, the server is suspended with 2 days left and scheduled for deletion with 1 day left. Top up within that window and the server starts again automatically.

Can I get a refund?

If a server can’t be created, the amount goes back to your balance automatically. Other cases are handled as described in the public offer.

Where is my data stored?

Servers are located in Germany, in a Contabo data center. We recommend keeping your own backups of the data on your server.

What is not allowed on a server?

Spam, phishing, DDoS attacks, unauthorized cryptocurrency mining and illegal content. Violations lead to the server being stopped immediately.

Which operating systems are available?

Ubuntu 24.04, Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12 and AlmaLinux 9. You can reinstall the system from the panel at any time.
